Yesterday was tech! The theatre we are working at is pretty nice and tech went really fast, which never happens. However, we only made it half way through our show doing transitions. We had to change around a lot of blocking, so I am just hoping we remember it all! It flew by though! Every time we had a problem and needed to stop we yelled "cooter" Oh Rania! We also had wine afterwards. My hair is going to be pinned up so it looks like it is in a bob and we get to wear a lot of makeup...best costumes ever! After tech Zach, Em, and I went to McDonalds for a late dinner because we were starving! Then I came home and packed...I'm pretty much done. It's crazy how fast those four months went. But at least packing is done so I can just hang for the next few days.
This morning we started rehearsal at 11. We had a sing through of all the songs and then Zach, Em, and I went to thai food. After lunch we came back and worked on the final scene of the play a bit, and then did a line through of the first act lying on the floor with our eyes closed. It was a nice relaxing day, but pretty helpful. She did make us sing the chorus part individually though at one point cause it was never loud enough, and I panicked. I had a mini anxiety attack and literally got so nervous that I couldn't get my heart to settle down for like 10 minutes. It was weird...I mean I know I get nervous singing in front of people, but I guess it was just I was not prepared and it was a hard part. I don't know. I also realized this morning that I bruised two of my fingers I guess from the stage combat, so that's pretty painful, but I got surgical tape!
I got home from rehearsal, ate a sandwich from prett, and now the whole cast is going to Rania's house to do a drunk run through and eat pizza! Best cast and director ever! :)
