Last night I tried to write a post, but my internet sucks, so of course it wouldn’t post…so here’s an update!
Two night’s ago I ended up meeting up with Heather and her friends Amelia, Jordan, and Stephen at a Baskin Robins and taking them to a pub. We had a good time just talking and it was nice to be with Miami people again. And I am going to Dublin with them this weekend!
Yesterday we sprung forward, so I lost an hour of sleep, thus didn't wake up as early as I hoped too. But I did get up eventually and began fixing my paper (I wrote a lot about one play, but Chris Cook said I had to also write about one we saw together as a group). Needless to say my paper is almost done and about 500 words over the limit, but oh well.
We left to walk to school in the early afternoon for our master class with Greg Hicks and Kelly Hunter. Both of which were really cool people! They are actually brining plays to NYC next summer! They were completely honest about how it is working for the RSC and gave pretty great advice. Wish I had liked their production more! But from what it sounded like they weren't completely happy with it either. After the Q&A I went to the grocery store and to pick up some short shorts from Primark to wear for rehearsals. I then went and met up with Heather and her friends at Harrods, but they were ready to leave when I got there, so we went to Hyde Park. We walked around most of it, and went to the Peter Pan statue that you can see in the movie Hook. Then I walked home and was too exhausted to do much else. Worked a little on my paper, wrote some post cards before bed.
