It's the Year of the Tiger is the Thrill of the Fight!

Well I discovered today how to write my blog in different colors and fonts! So be prepared for some entertainment! lol. Today was a ton of fun and fairly productive.

I woke up fairly early, not as early, as I wanted to, but I was out of bed by 9:30. I worked on my theatre journal and then got ready for Chinese New Year. I went with Harrison, Micah, Maggie, Rachel, Kate, Logan, Lauren, and Nathalie to China town! It was SOOOO packed. I have never been so squished before. And as Logan put it "It is as if you are actually in jam packed China!" It is the year of the Tiger, and that's my year when I was born! So that was cool. We saw some people acting out the dragons which was cool. We went into a few stores, and then part of the group got really hungry so they went to eat, and me, Micah, and Lauren walked to Trafalger square. They had a huge stage set up there and they had people singing and dancing. It reminded me of Taming of the Shrew! I miss it! I kind of wanted to get up and start singing along. A little later we decided we were hungry to and so we went and got Chinese food, and I tried bubble tea for the first time. We split Sweet and Sour Chicken and a Duck Curry both of which were delicious. There wasn't much else to do, so we decided to walk back home.

We stopped at Ben's cookies which were DELICIOUS! We asked for the ones right off the oven which were chocolate chip and they were like dough. Really gooey, hot, and wonderful! Micah joked that when the two of us hang out all we do is eat, which is true. As bad as we are for each other, we split most things, so that helps us eat less!

When I got back I watched "I Know Who Killed Me" with the roomies. I was planning on doing hw, but it is such an awful movie, and it was on! I then memorized Provoked Wife, or so I thought. I went upstairs to rehearse with Kate, and I clearly didn't know it as well as I thought I did! But we worked for an hour and half and I feel much better about it. Zach was out and about so I didn't get to work with him, which stinks because we need to reblock some stuff before tomorrow morning. I am going in Shakespeare and High Comedy tomorrow! Heaven help me! I am preparing myself for the wrath, but maybe it will go better than I think.

  1. Upon reading back over this, it occurs to me that I am definitely the year of the horse, someone else there must have been the tiger...or maybe I was losing my mind out of exhaustion.
