Rain Rain Go Away

It was raining this morning, fairly hard, and I didn't wear my rain boots. It was disgusting. It caused me to get to school later than usual, not be able to stop for coffee, and my tennis shoes to be soaked all the way through and my jeans wet from the knee down. Needless to say, everyone was in a frenzy this morning.

In Sheila's class we were given an hour and a half to work on our scene. Zack and I blocked it and really started to understand everything better. We then got to workshop it with Sheila, who said it was good, but had a lot of room to grow, which I guess is good. She worked on just the first page with her. It took us awhile to understand what she wanted, but once we did, it seemed to improve.

In movement we did relaxation stuff, where we were allowed to fall asleep, which was wonderful. And it made me feel a whole lot better physically throughout the day. During the three hour break I read Chairs (which I loved). And then freaked out about my scene for auditions. I couldn't find the plays that I needed, or a good scene, and I want to have a good audition, and ugh, it was an experience.

Stage combat was a lot of fun today. Philip was in a good mood and complimented my work. We learned how to do falls, which I also really like. We are going to start choreographing fights next week. I am partnering with Trevor which I am excited about because he is a super tall guy.

Walked back home in the rain, which further soaked me. I spent time at home working with Zack on our scene. I just have so many scenes to memorize now and so much to worry about! It's crazy.
